Chili is one of the easiest ways to sneak massive amounts of fiber into your diet. This version is thick, rich, and perfect for chilly evenings.

Fiber benefit: Beans are the undisputed kings of fiber. A single serving of this chili provides over half your daily recommended fiber intake.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder

Method

  1. Brown the ground turkey in a large pot.
  2. Add the beans, tomatoes, and chili powder.
  3. Bring to a simmer, cover, and let it cook gently for 20 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  4. Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt.
